GETTING INTO HEAVEN Directed by EDWARD L MONTORO starring Uschi Digart. Born too soon to become Arnold Schwarzenegger’s perfect leading lady, and too late to be a calendar pin-up babe for the Third Reich, Ms. Digart wound up in Hollywood making tons of nudie pics for Russ Meyer, Harry Novak, and other girlie-show showmen. Heaven (Digart n her sexplosive prime) lives with Sin (JENNIE LYNN) in L.A. and both want to be “movie stars.” They have no talent other than very velvety and talented bodies, and no visible means of support with the exception of their bra straps. Therefore, they aim their lethal weapons at Mr. Salacity, a good natured sex maniac film producer. Well photographed in bright colors by co-producer JAMES SOMICH and Uschi looks as good here as she did in her Russ Meyer movies. ANGELS 1975 Directed by Spencer Compton with Drew Abrams, Vincent Schiavelli, Marquita Callwood. A blonde party-girl refuses to wear a helmet when she gets on the back of a biker boyfriend's motorcycle. Moments later, she's killed when a nun deliberately drives into them with a Bentley. Surprisingly, it's all part of the Divine Plan. The nun was one of God's Angels, and he personally gave her the car keys. One of the strangest films ever released by HARRY NOVAK, Angels is a dark, whimsical, cosmic exploitation comedy combining celestial fantasy and offbeat humor with some rather mean-spirited violence. "People die to become angels," explains God (envisioned as an elegant and impeccably groomed young black man) offers His angels to those who "need a hand" in becoming...well, dead. For example, two just-killed Chicago thugs arrive in His office, sign a declaration acknowledging that they are, in fact, "deceased," and agree to perform "one task to be designated by God." Their assignment: assist a psychotic, cowboy-garbed lunatic named Tex whose one inexplicable goal in life is to kill Leon DeWilde, "the world's most controversial artist." There are cool scenes at the site of the 1964 World's Fair in Flushing, and an old-fashioned cowboy-style shootout on the streets of Brooklyn at sunrise involving God, His angel women, the gangsters, and even dead Ray. Attractive package of shorts that overlaps GIRL ON GIRL (VHS) in content, at least sharing a couple of scenes, or is even identical. Makes sense, as a marketing ploy… you have some scenes that are all girl-girl and also feature fairly voluptuous women, so market the same movie as a lesbian video and a big-bust video. Starring Keli Stewart, Anna Ventura, Uschi Digart, Pepper Bond, Rhonda Jo Petty, Angel Cash, Carol Miller, Mindy Marlow.

BIG BUST LOOPS VOL 01

Mix of OLD loops featuring women with ample (but not freakish or surgically enhanced) busts. Of particular interest is a scratchy B&W loop of a guy in bed being smothered by about 16 (two per woman) large soft breasts, including those of cult bosom star Uschi Digart. "Highlights include: Softbody '60s babe (and friend) trying out her built-in water wings in the pool. 2. Uschi Digart (and other bountiful babes) smothering a lucky guy in bed.3. BIG SNATCH, THE(1971)

Directed by Byron Mabe. Nicely photographed and hypnotic "roughie" (a genre of twisted 1960s-1970s sexploitation/drive-in movies). Perhaps these things were shocking way back when, but time has imbued them with the accidental surrealism that makes twisted low-budget schlock so interesting. Sadistic, but not only is no one getting hurt in real life, but the characters themselves have a flattened affect that makes the proceedings feel like a dream. Directed by Byron Mabe, Dan Martin ("Ronnie Runningboard") with Uschi Digart, Peggy Church, Jane Sentas. "Five lovely gals are kidnapped (The Big Snatch, get it?) by two lowlife bastards, Bart and Momo, who haul their beauteous bounty off to some compound in the middle of nowhere, where a pack of savage guard dogs (heard throughout but never seen) make escape impossible. "I'll call you pigs, and you call me master! You'll do as I say, without question, or be punished," proclaims "mastermind" Bart to his cowering cuties. Meanwhile, Momo, Bart's mute lout of a lackey, parades threateningly around the captives slapping a rubber hose against his hand. USCHI DIGART (Touch of Sweden), JANE SENTAS (The Adult Version of Jekyll & Hide) and two of the other five girls, submit to every form of sexual degradation Bart and Momo devise for them, while the holdout, virgin Bernice -- played by adorable PEGGY CHURCH (The All-American Girl) -- frets about her jeopardized virtue and accepts hymen-safe saphic solace from Lillian. It's when Bernice is later caught trying to escape that Bart gets extra-sadistic -- until the girls turn the tables, clip off Momo's unit with a huge wire cutter, and give Bart "a taste of his own medicine" by literally screwing him to death!" Distributed by DAVID F. FRIEDMAN.(Knowing that most newspapers wouldn't dare advertise the title, this was also ballyhooed as The Big Catch.)

DICKTATOR, THE (1977)

Absurdly ambitious Soft X feature film with Rene Bond, Uschi Digart, Linda York, Paul Daniels, and Yolanda Beckham. Since 1977 was too late for Soft X at urban adult theatres this must have been a "Drive In" movie. "A "state of emergency" is in effect worldwide when a male birth control pill sterilizes most of the male population and the birth rate drops to zero. What to do? The President of the U.S., after consulting with French president KEITH ERICKSON, sends CIA agent Martin (PAUL DANIELS) out to scour the globe for any potent males who have yet to take the pill. Each of these rare potent men receives the code name "The Dicktator" and is conscripted to impregnate the world's nubile nookie. Accordingly, a Frisco drag queen is hooked up with LINDA YORK in one of the hottest scenes in the movie. Then an Andean sheep herder is dragged down from the Peruvian mountains to screw RENE BOND in the silliest scene in the movie. (Rene affects a Latin accent and, in order to turn on the shepherd, has to bend over and "Baaaa" like his favorite girl -- a sheep named Marta.) A Japanese doper is rousted out of an opium den to take on two geishas, the radiant KATHY HILTON (billed here as "Joanne Stevens") and MARA SONARA, a beautiful Asian gal. And a Russian political prisoner is released from his Siberian jail in order to impregnate USCHI DIGART. In the midst of all this, horny suburbanite Lily Tweetie, a platinum floozy whose boobs won't stay in her bodice, mistakes a free-lance baby photographer for her "dicktator" and screws him silly on the living room floor. Finally, Agent Martin journeys to the heart of darkest Africa to find a black Santa-Monica anthropology student who's busy boiling obese former porno starlets for the local cannibals. He's assigned to gloriously stacked ebony centerfold beauty YOLANDA BECKHAM. Political satire and Playboy party-style humor make this relatively high-budget farce a veritable phantasmagoria of frenetic softcore hijinks from producer / distributor / director of photography MANUEL S. CONDE. Conde cronies WALT DAVIS, director of Evil Come, Evil Go, plays the Russian Premiere (in addition to writing the script and lyrics to the songs), while SPENCE CRILLY, better known as director "Zoltan G. Spencer", is a White House reporter. Among the big and busy cast, look for Take It Out in Trade's MICHAEL DONOVAN O'DONNELL as the British Prime Minister, CYNDEE SUMMERS as his pastied party girl, Oh, You Beautiful "Doll!"'s CLEO O'HARA, and ANGELA CARNON ("Linda Harris") as one of the Russian Premier's bed pets."

FOUR A BED/MARRIAGE AMERICAN STYLE (SOFT-X DBL FEATURE 09) (1970)

Vintage soft-x; no "insertion", but plenty of everything else. Four in Bed: friendly game of strip poker abruptly becomes a sort of "No Exit" for the raincoat crowd as four horny ladies takes turns trying, without success, to turn on a poor schlemiel whose ineptitude extends beyond card-playing. In between their romps in the sack, the ladies convene in another room in to observe Bergmanesque silences and occasionally give utterance to their despair, leaving the reticent stud in a state of profound dejection. And how's this for a high concept: Uschi Digard meets the Marx Brothers! Well... sort of. See for yourself in Marriage American Style, a mélange of zany monkey business and madcap mammary merrymaking. Mmmmmm... See Uschi's Swedish techniques bring "Candy Clit" (Donna Young, the star of WILD HONEY) to the climactic decision to leave her husband! See divorce lawyers "Groucho & Co." depose their clients in a topsy-turvy hands-on consultation abounding in visual puns! Look out for the Bingo game in the bedroom!" Uschi Diagrd was something special. A walking stylization of the 1960s zoftig female.

GETTING INTO HEAVEN (1970)

Well photographed and very erotically effective soft-x vehicle for The spectacular Uschi Digard, who was as much archetype as woman… how does anyone with that much estrogen stay fairly fit? It must have been a full-time job. From the box: "She was born too soon to become Arnold Schwarzenegger’s perfect leading lady, so she wound up in Hollywood, USA, making tons of nudie pics for Russ Meyer, Harry Novak, and other girlie-show showmen. Uschi Digart is billed as “Marie Marceau” in this softcore comedy best described as frothy and frolicsome. The aptly named Heaven (Miss Digart) lives with Sin (Jennie Lynn) in L.A. and both want to be “movie stars." Getting into Heaven is a good, if harmless, vehicle for Uschi's erotic talents, especially when she’s on top, which seems to be her favorite position. The simulated sex is well photographed in bright colors by co-producer JAMES SOMICH and Uschi looks as good here as she did in her Russ Meyer movies."

HAWAIIAN SPLIT aka GOD CHILDREN (1971)

Directed by Robert E. Pearson. With Lindsey Hillard, Sandi Carey, Rene Bond, Uschi Digart "Running drugs from California to Hawaii can be a dangerous business, especially for a smut star like SANDI CAREY, a snitch who trades rolls in the sack for information about how and when the drugs are to be transferred. For her trouble, she also gets pistol-whipped, tied up, and has a couple of fingernails ripped out with pliers. Oooooouch! And that’s just some of the nasty side-action in the surprisingly violent Hawaiian Split, a.k.a. The Godchildren. Behind most of the violence here is a larger-than-life character named Keith Dyson (LINDSEY HILLARD), a farmer-cum-assassin with a slow speech and a quick trigger finger. A cross between Clint Eastwood and Bruce Dern, Hillard plays the killer with cool menace, stabbing and shooting a steady path through this tale of double- and triple-crossing gangsters. When Felix Hempouyin, the leader of a narcotics syndicate, sends his man Louie (CHRISTOPHER CULHANE) to Hawaii with a bundle of heroin hidden in a surfboard, he receives a half million dollars in a rigged briefcase set to explode if tampered with. He also finds himself trailed by Carl Jagger, a shaven-headed, bearded rival drug dealer whom naughty Sandi has tipped off. Forced to hide the money and lie low for a day, Louie relaxes in a Honolulu nightspot drinking Mai Tais when a hipster-weirdo “bullshit artist” named Bobby Lee O’Toole -- decked out in Hawaiian shirt, jams, and bowler hat -- shows up with two bimbos, “Lady Godiva” (porn princess RENE BOND) and “Lady Chatterley” (KATHY HILTON). When Rene is carded by the bartender, she flashes her new breast implants (paid for by legendary movie mogul Harry Novak) and, afterwards, Louis joins the trio for “a night of debauchery.” Said debauchery is not complete until masseuse Lotta Cruze (the breast-o-matic USCHI DIGART) drops by and shows Miss Bond “how to be tender.” But deadly Dyson is on everybody’s tail and, after roughing up Miss Carey, ends up killing most of the cast until it all ends with a bang."

ODDLY COUPLED (1970)

Directed by Karl Rawicz with Malta, Donna Young, Uschi Digart, Johnny Rocco. An oddball trip down mammary lane. "A jumbo order of Fish 'n' Chicks! The vivacious MALTA screws some guy in the front seat of her convertible. Pretty DONNA YOUNG screws some guy on a beach blanket. But Hobart Moore prefers the company of his fish. Say what? Hobart ("My friends call me 'Ho-Ho'"), is a shy skinny proto-nerd (and Huntz Hall clone) who is kidnapped by a carload of pretty gals -- Gloria (plain), Didi (airhead), and Sheri (tart) -- and taken to their home as a prospective boyfriend for Gertie. Say who? Gertie is an obese nymphomaniac who doesn't like to be called "Madam" because "it sounds so dirty, boo-hoo." (Are we in a brothel of some sort? Don't know.) Fat-mama Gertie desperately wants Ho-Ho to be amorous, so the gals (including Maisie Day, a prunish, washed-up cook and former beauty queen who talks and acts like Ruth Gordon) take turns trying to interest Ho-Ho in the birds and the bees rather than fish. This includes watching home videos of normal people having sex (like USCHI DIGART and JOHNNY ROCCO). Trouble is, the gals prove to be too neurotically wacky to screw -- indeed, in light of Sheri and Didi's behavior in bed, Ho-Ho's preference for fish actually appears perfectly sensible. Moreover, anytime the word "sex" is uttered, Gertie comes charging through the door like a rhino in heat! Obscenely clad in a baby-doll nightie, all 300 pounds of her quavering in slow motion, she launches herself into bed like a dirigible gone amuck. In a final touch of delirium, Oddly Coupled (a.k.a. They were lowest of the low! Well, a secretary named Gloria goes on a deep-sea excursion with her gal-pals. This floating den of sin gives the "Love Boat" a whole new meaning! The gals are paired up with guys and only Emily the dyke is left out, but doesn't really care because Gloria is willing to share herself. Everyone has sex, below deck, above deck, you name it. No one seems to notice the slobbering maniac with pantyhose pulled over his head watching them do their thing. No one on the tiny vessel realizes that Emily is missing for a whole day, ("Maybe a passing ship picked her up!") until they get off their world-weary asses and search for her. What do you know! SAPPHO DARLING (1969)

Directed by Gunnar Steele. You would think that with a tagline like "written and produced by Academy Award winner Albert Zugsmith" that this would be one of those dull artsy sexploitation films, but it is actually very sleazy! Zugsmith had a wild career, and we owe him a great debt. He started out producing trash like CAPTIVE WOMEN, INVASION USA and PARIS MODEL. Then he became one of the producers at Universal that made that studio as interesting in the 1950s as UFA was in the 1920s. He worked with three of the greatest directors ever -- Douglas Sirk, Orson Welles and Jack Arnold, and produced at least four or five masterpieces. Zugsmith and Arnold did HIGH SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL in 1958, which made a lot of money, so Zugsmith started producing nothing but teen exploitation, finally directing SEX KITTENS GO TO COLLEGE himself. From there, it's a short walk to FANNY HILL… The last film he produced was this Swedish lesbian flick with Julia Blackburn, Yvonne D'Angers, Alan Darnay, Uschi Digard, Sally Sanford, and Carol Young as Sappho. .

SUPERCHICK (1973)

Early 1970s camp nudie filmed on location in New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Tara B. True (Joyce Jillson) is the ultimate party-girl; she has enough love to share with the world, so she became a stewardess to romance the world. TOUCH OF SWEDEN (1971)

The original film that later had extraneous XXX inserts stuck in to make PASTRIES. As is almost always the case, this original edit is superior. (It's not like PASTRIES has additional sex footage of star Uschi Digart, so what's the point?) Stellar cast of turbo-bodied tigress USCHI DIGART joined by SANDY DEMPSEY, SANDI CAREY, MARIA ARNOLD, PEGGY CHURCH, BARBARA MILLS, and MINDY BRANDT. "Touch of Sweden is a great showcase for La Uschi, who stars in and narrates the story in her wonderful syrupy accent. While on vacation in Sweden, Uschi describes her adventures in Hollywood to a wide-eyed plaything. After becoming a star in sex films (like Below the Belt, The Toy Box, Getting Into Heaven, and Russ Meyer's SuperVixens), the buxotic Usch has a change of heart and says, "I felt guilty. I wanted to do something for humanity." Everyone's favorite sex bomb then "helps her fellow man" by becoming a nurse (!) and meeting "the strangest people." Naturally, Uschi and her fellow nurses offer their own special brand of sexual healing. Bed-hopping includes NORMAN FIELD as a womanizing Groucho Marx impersonator, horny fat guy JACK (The Toy Box) KING, a rump-wrangling barber (JOHN KEITH), fake sheik RON DARBY, The Adult Version of Jekyll & Hide's JACK BUDDLINER, smut stud JOHN PAUL JONES, and a skirt-chasing Count Dracula who tries to put the bite on Miss Digart. As usual, Sandy Dempsey and Sandi Carey get their cookie sheets greased. In fact, the whole cast gets played with so often, they should have "Mattel" stenciled on their butts. Touch of Sweden shapes up as a well-made, frequently funny sex romp courtesy of producer/director JOSEPH F. (Love Feast, The Slime People) ROBERTSON who also cameos as both Cecil, a patient who loves knitting, and a drunk who sits outside a phone booth and happily watches Uschi undress. It often unspools like a soft-X episode of Love American Style gone haywire."

TOY BOX / TOYS ARE NOT FOR CHILDREN (1971)

We can hardly express our admiration for 1971's THE TOY BOXDirected by Ron Garcia, a professional cinematographer (TWIN PEAKS) today. A fun/creepy American horror/fantasy masterpiece of the strong soft-X genre film about an orgiastic gathering in a spooky mansion. Better than most of the European Sex-Horror films that followed, and actually kind of about sex, not just a horror film with some sex scenes thrown in. "Swingers Donna and Ralph are invited to a midnight party at the castle of "Uncle," an overweight pervert who pays people to perform sexually for his twisted amusement. This time, however, it appears that Uncle has died — which doesn't stop the guests from turning his wake into a nonstop orgy by acting out their fantasies in front of Uncles dead, bloated eyes. But reality and illusion quickly become blurred as various partygoers may or may not be gruesomely murdered. Worse, a giant nude woman informs Donna and Ralph that Uncle is actually an alien from outer space who's collecting specimens for an extraterrestrial toy store specializing in the brains of "depraved" humans.…" The supernatural/fantasy scenes are visually striking and quite perverse. Donna's spicy amateurish voice-over is effective and quite sexy as we hear her oddball innermost thoughts while playing with herself and such. The players are promised gifts from the "toy box." Ralph and Donna await their turn, when the mansion's doors lock at midnight; and it's not long before they discover the players are being murdered by...the dead uncle?
